PALILULA NIGHT 2014 PROGRAMME PROMOTED

Traditional cultural manifestation - Palilula Night by Palilula Municipality -City of Nis will be organized on September 3 2014. This year`s manifestation is dedicated to remembering 100 years of First World War beginging and 70 years from the liberation of Nis during the Second World War, preserving cultural and historical heritage of Serbian people and memory for great courage of Serbian soldiers and country freedom.

According to the words of Palilula president Palilula Night will begin at 20 30 and will be opened by the Mayor of Nis PhD Zoran Perisic. The bishop of Nis Eparchy Dr. Jovan is also expected.

At the central theatre stage, nest to Palilula market place, the finalists of manifestation Karaoke Palilula Fest 2014 will be performing including La Kampanela, Uciteljska lira, Church dancing ensamble Branko, KUD Kovilje, Vukmanovo, Vocal ensemble Konstantin Nis, Etno group Nisko Zone, KUD Alija Jasarevic, pop rock group So and So. At the press conference president Dzunic also announced that there will be direct broadcasting – TV Belle Amie and special guests of this year official programme.

From other following manifestations there are Palulula sport recreation activities on Bubanj that will take place from 29 to 31 August 2014 in the organization of KK Nonius and the Association of scouts Kralj Petar Prvi, Chess tournament of young people, International student theater festival Urban fest – DIS Theater, Banjaluka and Academic theater form Kragujevac will also be presented to people from Palilula. 

On September 3, in the area of Palilula market , will be organized the exhibition of handmade and artistic works and Vine Festival with the participation of about 30 exhibitors, Palilula newspaper promotion no 5-6 programme Grandpa Zika corner in Episkopska street.

On this occasion, on Palilula railway stop location in Episkopska street, apart from the participants of cultural artistic programme from 19 30 many thousands of people living in Nis and Palilula and many guests from other areas will show up. Palilula from Nis is recognizable as a part of the city where the spirit of old city streets is cherished, one bohemian and `gentlemanly` type of spirit. Manifestation Palilula Night is traditionally organized in the beginning of June within the celebration of the City of Nis St Emperor Constantine and Helen Day, but this year its organization was postponed  to September 3 because of elementary disasters - great floods that stroke our country during May and June.
